Fahren Mit der SBB

   Wir fahren mit der SBB
   ins grüner land hinein,
   und wer nicht mit uns reisen will
   der bleibe schön daheim.
   Der blaue himmel lacht dazu
   vom Rhein- zum Rhonestrand.
   Wir fahren mit der SBB
   im schönen Schweizerland.
   
   Sind wir am Ziele angelangt
   so wandern wir die Höh'n,
   und singen "Lieber Schweizerland,
   wie bist du doch so schön!"
   Dann kehren fröhlich wir zurück,
   gebräunt vom sonnenschein,
   und fahren mit der SBB
   gemütlich wieder heim.
   
Riding on the SBB

   We're riding on the SBB [Swiss National Railway]
   Throughout the lush countryside,
   and whomever doesn't wish to come along
   can jolly well stay home.
   The blue sky laughs along with us
   from the Rhine to the Rhone.
   We're riding on the SBB
   in beautiful Switzerland.
   
   When we arrive at our destination
   we wander through the heights,
   singing "Beloved Switzerland,
   how beautiful thou art!"
   Then merrily we return,
   tanned from the sun,
   and ride again safely and confortably
   on the SBB back home.
